Hello to you all
Here we are halfway through August already, time flies when you have as much fun as we do.
We held a work party the end of July where we got quite a bit accomplished. A fresh coat of sealant on the club house roof, the inside walls of the club house coat a fresh coat of paint, some low hanging tree limbs cut down and burned. Thank you to everyone that showed up to lend a hand in the work.
The August meeting saw 9 members in attendance. Bill Karcz wanted us to know that the troy club will hold their elections during the October 19th meeting. All full JML members are encouraged to attend as troys elections effect JML’s future too. full members please remember to bring your troy club card for elegibility to vote. Even if your not a full member of JML you can still attend the meeting just to see what happen’s over there and have a chance to introduce yourself.
Bill and Mike Karcz are hosting September’s novelty shoot with food provided by Pat Ifland. The following are the rules and scoring procedures. It sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Welcome to the 2nd Joliet muzzleloaders Novelty shoot. We have tested and refined some fun targets this year. Each match will be scored and paid individually. Please be patient, there are many things going on for this shoot, so winners will be notified at the end of the shoot day.
We have done our best to replicate some of the most interesting paper targets we normally shoot as 3D targets as well as bring back some of the most interesting targets from the last novelty shoot.
A lot of thought and testing has been put into setting up this shoot. We hope you have as much fun shooting these matches as we have had designing them.
Enjoy.
