Greetings to all my black powder friends
Here we are full into December, where does the time go? Were starting into the hit or miss months when we never can tell if the weather will allow us to pursue our beloved hobby. Please use caution traveling the road if the temperatures permit the ground to thaw.
We still need one more person to volunteer to upgrade to a full membership. Anyone interested please contact Mike Prisebe or Rich Lambert
We are in need of replacement railroad ties for the shooting line, If anyone hears of any surplus being available for free or cheap please contact Tony Borello
It is with great pleasure that I announce that Darrin McDonal has been accepted to work in the gunsmith shop at Colonial Williamsburg. A hearty congratulations to you Darrin you’ve certainly earned it.
After 17 years Joe Bukovsky has decided to step down as primitive activities chairman. Thank you for all the hard work Joe we appreciate it.
A vote was taken at the December meeting that all current officers remain the same except for Joe. Pat Iffland was voted to fill the primitive activities chair. Congratulations Pat.
Target prices will be increased in 2017 to $2 for members and $3 for non-members.
The aggregate is being moved to 100 yards and will be a cross stick match. Shooting will be from seated on the ground or chair. There will be a $10 entry fee to play for the year and $2 per target.
Speaking of the aggregate relay, this years was a fiercely fought competition.
