Hello to all my black powder friends
Let’s start out by saying thank you to Larry Suligoy for fixing the sagging outside gate, well done larry.
Another thank you goes to joe Bukovsky for planting the tree’s along the south fence row, they will make a nice windscreen when they mature a little.
It has been proposed and accepted as a good plan to help the Troy sportsmans club with their next work party as a way of thanking them for the railroad ties they donated to our side. They have a work party coming up on September 23rd starting at 9AM at the Troy club grounds. we’re not sure what their planning to work on but the addition of able bodies would be welcomed I’m sure.
Tony Borello has postponed the work party he wanted to get in this fall in favor of helping Troy, there may be a small work detail in October to prep things for the rendezvous but it’s not set in stone yet.
Attached you should find the September shoot results and the rules and regulations for the upcoming October novelty shoot. Coincidently there’s going to be a camp held the day before the October shoot. No restrictions on camp style, modern or primitive welcome. Just come out and relax, get yourself in the mood to have fun at the novelty shoot.
That’s about all this old buckskinner has scribbled on his parchment for now, until we cross again keep yer powder dry and shoot sharp’s the word. Whiskey Jim
